    Men’s EHF EURO 2026: Pure Greatness!

    The Men’s EHF EURO 2026 is the premier handball championship in Europe, bringing together the best national teams from across the continent. This event promises thrilling matches, showcasing the highest level of handball skills and sportsmanship. Experience pure greatness as teams compete for the European Championships title from January 15 to February 1, 2026.

     

    Host Cities and Venues

    The Men’s EHF EURO 2026 will be hosted in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway, featuring vibrant cities that offer unique experiences for fans and players alike. Host cities will be Malmö, Kristianstad, Herning and Oslo. Denmark as main host will feature Preliminary Round groups A & B, one Main Round as well as the Final Weekend. All games will take place Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning. Sweden will host two Preliminary Round Groups (Group E: Malmö Arena & Group F: Kristianstad Arena) as well as one Main Round (Malmö Arena). Norway will host Preliminary Round groups C & D in Oslo.

    Kristianstad Arena, a multi-purpose arena with seating for up to 5,000 spectators, will host Preliminary Round group F (with Iceland, if qualified). The Arena is located 1,5 kilometers from the train station, and five hundred meters from the highway and bus station. From Kristianstad airport, you have approximately fifteen kilometers to the Arena.

    Malmö Arena will feature Preliminary Round group E (with Sweden) as well as one Main Round. The arena is centrally located in the Öresund region, also known as Greater Copenhagen. Opened in 2008, the multi-arena has a capacity of up to 12,000 spectators and is easily reachable by train from Malmö Centrum, Copenhagen Airport and city centre.

    Jyske Bank Boxen will feature Preliminary Round groups A (with Germany, if qualified) and B (with Denmark). One Main Round as well as the Final Weekend will also take place in the multi-arena with a capacity of up to 15,000 spectators. Jyske Bank Boxen already hosted international handball championships several times.

    Unity Arena will host Preliminary Round groups C (with Norway) and D (with Faroe Islands, if qualified). The multi-use indoor stadium is located in the municipality of Bærum, Fornebu by the beautiful Oslo fjord. The venue has a capcity of up to 8,000 spectators and is situated approximately 10 km from the city centre of Oslo.
