When and where does the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 take place?

The Women’s EHF EURO 2024 will take place in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland from 28 November 2024 – 15 December 2024.

At which venues will the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 take place?

The games of the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 will take place in following venues:

- Innsbruck, Austria, Olympiahalle: Preliminary Round Groups E & F
- Vienna, Austria, Wiener Stadthalle: Main Round Group II, Final Weekend
- Basel, Switzerland, St Jakobshalle: Preliminary Round Groups C & D
- Debrecen, Hungary, Fönix Aréna: Preliminary Round Groups A & B, Main Round Group I

Is there already a match schedule defined?

Yes, the current Women's EHF EURO 2024 match schedule can be downloaded here.

Are there any restrictions on admission to the arena? Is there a list of prohibited items?

At the venues special measures are taken as part of admission control. A list of prohibited items will be announced and will be available at ehfeuro.eurohandball.com.

Have the playing times already been set?

For playing times please have a look at the official match schedule that will be published on ehfeuro.eurohandball.com.

Can I take pictures/make videos in the arenas or do I need authorization?

Image and video recordings are only permitted for private use. However, the use of other aids such as professional camera and video equipment, tripods or selfie sticks is prohibited.

Do I need a visa to enter one of the host countries?

Please clarify with your local authorities whether you need an entry visa for one of the hosting countries. Please note that a ticket for the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 is not a sufficient document for entry.

Which types of tickets are available for the Women’s EHF EURO 2024?

For the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 the following ticket types are generally available:

- Preliminary Round Ticket (valid for all 6 games of a Preliminary Round Group)
- Main Round Ticket (valid for all 12 games of a Main Round Group)
- Final Weekend Ticket (valid for all 5 games of the Final Weekend in Vienna: two semi-finals, placement match 5/6, bronze medal-match, finals
- Day Ticket (valid for all games of one match day in one venue)
- Venue Ticket Basel (valid for all match days in Preliminary Round Groups C & D in Basel)

Offer and availability depending on the respective sales phase.

Which tickets will be available in which sales phase?

The following tickets are available:

Packages – available as of 28 November 2023

Innsbruck:
- Preliminary Round Ticket (valid for all matchdays of Preliminary Round Group E or F)

Vienna:
- Main Round Ticket (valid for all matchdays of Main round Group II)
- Final Weekend Ticket (valid for all matchdays of the Final Weekend)

Debrecen:
- Preliminary Round Ticket (valid for all matchdays of Preliminary Round Group A or B)
- Main Round Ticket (valid for all matchdays of Main Round Group I)

Basel:
- Preliminary Round Ticket (valid for all matchdays of Preliminary Round Group C or D)
- Venue Ticket (valid for all matchdays of Preliminary Round Group C AND D)

Day Tickets – available as of 15 May 2024

How many tickets will I receive if I purchase a package for more than one matchday?

You will always receive one ticket for all matches included in the package. For example, you may visit all games in Group B, Debrecen, with the same ticket if you have the Preliminary Round Ticket.

How much do tickets cost? Which price categories are available?

For the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 tickets will be available in different price categories, depending on the venue.

Will it be possible to buy tickets only for a single match?

No. A ticket is always valid for all matches of the respective matchday in the respective venue.

Which methods of shipping do exist?

Following shipping methods are available:

- Standard shipping national (FanTicket)
- Express shipping international (FanTicket)
- TicketDirect – print at home ticket

What is a ”FanTicket“?

A FanTicket is a high-quality colour souvenir ticket in the official design of the Women’s EHF EURO 2024.

What is the difference between the standard ticket and the FanTicket?

The standard ticket is a standardized ticket on a neutral ticket paper that you can get at a ticket office. The FanTicket is a high-quality, colored souvenir ticket in the official design of the Women’s EHF EURO 2024, which is only available via the online shop, ticket hotline and group orders.

What is the print@home service?

The E-Ticket purchased through the Print@Home service is an electronic ticket in PDF format that can be printed at home with a simple inkjet or laser printer in A4 format or displayed on the screen of mobile devices. When buying tickets, you have the option to request tickets in Print@Home E-Ticket format, so once you have successfully paid for your tickets, the Print@Home icon will appear, by clicking on which you can download and print your own tickets in PDF format. You can access and print your previously purchased tickets at any time in your "User Account". It is therefore particularly important that you do not give anyone access to your purchased tickets. If several people try to enter the event with the same code, only the first person to arrive will be admitted.

What should I pay attention to if I want to print my ticket?

To use Print@Home tickets, the following technical conditions must be met: You must have Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or later. The ticket must be printed in A4 size. The print quality setting cannot be "draft", do not use refilled cartridges. For tickets printed with an inkjet printer, blurring of the barcode must be avoided. Printing can be both color and black and white.

How secure is the Print@Home E-Ticket?

Exactly as secure as a normal ticket. Print@Home tickets are scanned individually in the access control system. This ticket also entitles one person to a single entry to the event venue. It is therefore particularly important that you keep your ticket or its contact details secure. The buyer of the ticket is responsible for ensuring that no copies of the ticket are made.

Do I have to print the ticket or is it enough to present it by phone?

Of course, it depends on the phone or mobile device, but a ticket can be presented on a smartphone or tablet screen that meets today's standards and general consumer requirements, so it is not necessary to print it.

How can I pay for my tickets?

The following payment methods are available:

- Credit Card (VISA / MASTERCARD)
- Online Bank Transfer
- PayPal

How many tickets can I buy?

You can buy a maximum of 10 tickets per match day or ticket package per order via the official Women’s EHF EURO 2024 ticket shop. If you want to purchase more than 10 tickets per match day or package please use the order form for groups.

I am a tour operator and would like to order large number of tickets. Who can I ask?

Group orders can be requested using the order form for groups.

Can I reserve seats?

No, a reservation of a seat is not possible.

Will there be a box office at the arenas?

Yes, depending on availability, it may be possible to purchase tickets at the box office of the arena. However, there is no guarantee that you will receive your desired seats (according to price category and area). In addition, the box offices will be open to upgrade discounted tickets.

Can I subsequently upgrade discounted tickets at the box offices?

Yes, if the original discount no longer applies, you can have your ticket upgraded at the box office of the arena.

Is there a minimum age for children? When does a child need their own seat?

There is no minimum age for children to attend a game. Please note, however, that access to the arena is only granted to people who can present a valid ticket. The age of children that must also be in possession of a valid ticket can vary from venue to venue. Please also note that the sound levels within the arena may not be suitable for small children.

Can my child sit on my lap?

Children who do not need a ticket according to the discount policy of the respective venue can/have to sit on their parent’s lap but must not obstruct the view of other guests.

Will my tickets be replaced if they are stolen?

Yes, if a police report is presented, it is possible to have the ticket reissued. Please contact customer service using the contact form.

How can I get an invoice for my ticket order?

You will find a corresponding download link to your invoice in the confirmation of your order.

Who can answer questions about my ticket order?

In your customer account under “My data” you will find all information about the orders you have placed. You can also obtain personal information from our customer service. Please use the contact form.

Are the purchased tickets also valid for public transport?

In Innsbruck, Vienna and Basel a ticket for the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 is also valid for public transport on the respective matchday in the respective city.

In Innsbruck, if you are in possession of a ticket to the Women’s EHF EURO 2024, you are allowed to use public transport from 1.5 hours before the first game to 1.5 hours after the last game of the matchday.

In Basel you are allowed to use public transport to get to and back from the arena once.

Are tickets personalized?

Tickets for the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 are not personalized.

Can I give my ticket to someone else if I am not able to go to a match myself?

Yes, but only for the entire day.

REDUCTIONS & DISCOUNTS

Are there discounted tickets and whom do they apply to?

Yes, the following groups of people receive an additional discount in different price categories:

Available discounts:

Innsbruck & Vienna:
- Children aged 0 – 5 years (free, without a seat)
- Children/youngsters aged 6-17 years
- 1 free ticket for people in wheelchairs with an accompanied person who has to pay the full price of the cheapest ticket-category.

Debrecen:
- Children aged 0 – 5 years (free, without a seat)
- Children/youngsters aged 6-17 years
- Seniors aged 65+
- 1 free ticket for people in wheelchairs with an accompanied person who has to pay the full price of the cheapest ticket-category.

Basel:
- Children aged 0 – 4 years (free, without a seat)
- Children/youngsters aged 5-12 years
- Children/youngsters aged 13-17 years
- 1 free ticket for people in wheelchairs with an accompanied person who has to pay the full price of a Category 3 – Ticket.

TICKETS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

Where and how is it possible to buy tickets for wheelchair users?

There is a limited number of tickets for wheelchair users and accompanying persons in the arenas. These tickets can only be ordered using the official contact form.

Where and how can I purchase tickets for people with disabilities?

Tickets for people in need of a wheelchair and their accompanying person are generally available for each match of the Women’s EHF EURO 2024. These tickets can only be purchased via the official contact form. There are no tickets available for people who have a disability other than being in need of a wheelchair.
